Consultation is an integral component of the Environmental Assessment (EA) process. Early and ongoing engagement with stakeholders can provide a broad range of valuable perspectives and viewpoints.
Throughout the Detailed Design phase for the new Highway 7 Grand River Bridges (Phase 2), the Project Team will provide opportunities and encourage ongoing consultation with members of the public, interest groups, government agencies, and Indigenous peoples.
Newspaper advertisements, mail delivery, and this project website will notify members of the public and interested stakeholders of key points in the study process including study commencement and the 30-day public review period for the Design and Construction Report (DCR) for the New Highway 7 Grand River Bridges.
All newspaper notices will be advertised in the Waterloo Regional Record, Guelph Tribune, Turtle Island News and Two Row Times.
To contact the Project Team directly with comments or to request to be added to the study mailing list, please visit the Contact Us page of this website.
